New York: The Museum of Modern Art, 1960. Paperback, quarto, 96 pp. illustrated throughout. Some very minor edge-wear to wraps. Very good.
The Art for Beginners Series from MOMA is killer. There were only 3 of them, but the design is great, the price was right ($1.95), and they're well written. Here we've got this awesome (uncredited) white negative space graphic of the coping saw at work, AND some incredible folk art of "student" work, including pins, bracelets, necklaces, etc. that are top notch (again uncredited). And they're helpful and useful to cut through the DIY youtube noise, and focus on design.
